The more i watch CNN the more peeved I'm getting. Wolf Blizter keeps saying how if Barack does not pick her as VP it may hurt his chances. News flash...Hillary does not run this, Barack an his camp does. This woman has not respected Barack run for the White since day one. Barack has respected her as an opponent and as a woman...can we say the same about Hillary? She has tried to guilt her way to the White House just of her last name. She has taken cheap shots at Obama time and time again (from stating if it was between choosing Obama and McCain, she would have people choose McCain to calling him an "Elite"...If being an Elitist means working hard through life, not painting himself as a victim because of his race, receiving high honors in college and law school...then count me in, Hillary). What's really amazing, and I have said this in an earlier post, how come he gets painted as an "Elitist" and the blatant misstep by one of Hillary supporters when calling an WV woman hardly received no news time. And now Vice President Cheney jokes about some West Virginia people practice incest but yet Barack has been painted as if he's better than most people.>>>more

Sitting
here watching the DNC committee two things come to mind...1. one
candidate does not have the right to change the rules just because it
does not favor their side and 2. I see why some things should be close
to the public. This hearing should not be talking place because of one
simple fact...the rules were broken. If by some far chance that Senator
Clinton gets the nod to run for president, does she really think that
Black America would stand behind her? What she is doing is the same
thing that the Republican party has pulled time and time again. Many
people do not want to admit to it but she thought she would get the nod
just because of who is she. People may try say race is not playing a
part of this but it is. Would this primary have went as far as it has
if Barack were White?>>>more
"I don't think he would make a good president. He has had his time and did not come through and as far as I am concerned he has too many ties to the Clintons.
In my view Barack is the best candidate hands down. it's amazing how she(I refused to say her name) has played dirty politics from the beginning. For me she is no different than the Bush administration. I have grown tired of the fact than when things has not gone her way she is coming off like a spoil brat. I hope that many African-Americans come to the realization that her ambitions is to be the first woman president and not a president that will bring this country together.
It's amazing how she is trying to downplay her comment on her trip telling people to "get over it." She has been caught in a lie and now she wants to say "she's only human" but when it comes to Senator Obama it's another story. If she gets the nomination I will either vote for McCain or Ralph Nader and I hope that Blacks wake up and realize that the Clintons are nothing but con artists that think we as African-American are stupid and that just because there are Democrats that we will just give our votes to her.
To me her "just get over it" comment is just as bad as Cheney's "so?" comment. For her and her husband to say that McCain would make a better leader than Obama tells me she is doing ANYTHING to win and it should wake up the African-American community that she cares nothing about our people but her on agenda.
This broad has got to go.
*for me to call her a broad means she is not fit to be called a lady. Madeline Albright is a lady, Nancy Pelosi is a lady, she is just some "rich, old chick" who has a husband disrespected her time and time again and she has too much time on her hands."
This was my comment written to CNN/Cafferty File. It may get published and maybe not but one thing for sure, Hillary Clinton I have NO respect for you on so many levels. For me she has shown she will try and win by "any way necessary". From what I'm seeing instead her learning from the dirty politics the other party tried on her husband, she has taking pages from the "gutter" play book and now are throwing them at Obama. I have to admit and ashamed, I knew politics was dirty but this race has truly opened up my eyes in the sense I have to really take my vote really serious when comes endorsing a candidate.
I am not putting Obama on a pedestal, I'm not painting him as a saint but most people have to admit, he has been trying to be respectful toward Hillary from the beginning but you can't keep coming after a person and then when a person responses back you get offended. Like my wife says about her, "If she can't take it..don't dish it out." For a person who says that she has experience and John McCain has experience and not include Obama lets me know that she would rather have this country suffer four more years under Bush ideas than to try and boast a fellow Democrat. I know it's a competition but for to run her campaign the way she has makes me sick to my stomach.
And when will African-Americans wake up and realize that with Hillary her reason for running for president is not the country, but to feel a void in her life. I will say this, she will not get my vote, Ralph[Nader] will get the nod from me. No more from me voting for "the lesser of two evil". I'm not voting for Obama because he's black, he gets my nod because in my eyes he is letting people know, "this is your government and I am here to help you, not to do it for you." For me, Barack will surround himself with smart people when it comes time to run the government and lets not forget...he's married to a woman that will keep him grounded.
One thing I can say about this political race is to question all candidates, Republicans, Democrats...to let them know that my vote can not be bought by coming around to churches for their "2-4 year booty call." We as a nation have to take our nation back because one thing Bush has shown is that he only cares for one type of people...wealthy people and once we realize this we can get past the race issue because with Republicans they are good at that...spinning it to make it seem as if the country is going the tubes because of immigration, race favors and to be honest this country is in the tubes in my eyes because of wealthy greed, many of us as a nation wanting to hear what we want to hear instead of what we need to hear, and for us as a nation to take our country back to let politicians and businesses...they work for us and not the other way around.
I have to admit I allowed myself to be duped...duped by the Clinton's. Maybe as some people say, "the less of two evils" applied with me when going with the Democrats. No, I'm not switching parties because how I feel about the Conservatives and especially with the first four years of the Bush Administration if they would have had their way it would have been "House Slaves" and "Field Slaves". If it is one thing I can give the Bush Administration credit is that Bush truly showed that if you are having problems filling your tank at the pump, buying groceries that is your problem not his. Now I am not one to have the government bail us out of everything because sometimes we as a nation waste a lot of money on things we do not need, can not afford and then want to blame the big bad corporation on our choices in some things in life. With me, you know what your getting when you deal with the Republicans but with the Democrats I am learning they are just as but and maybe worse.
Hillary Clinton has showed me she will do anything and say anything to win.
After watching Tina Fey on
Saturday Night Live basically campaign for Hillary and how the skits tried to
say that the press is soft on Obama and tough on her because she is a "woman".
As I am writing this post tomorrow (Feb. 26th, Tuesday) will be the debate with
Barack and Hillary and I am going to try and stomach this debate because what I
am seeing from Senator Clinton she does not handle pressure well and as my
beautiful/better whole said, "she's no better than President Bush" and you know
what she hit the nail on the head. This is her last hour and some people get
better when the pressure is on and some do not...she[Clinton] does not. From her
desperate showing at the State of the Black Union, her rant about Obama
questions about her decision on NAFTA, her sarcastic remarks about his speeches,
Senator Hillary is not sticking to the topics we need to have addressed, she's
trying to attack him personally. I keep hearing about her "experience" but what
does that mean? Let's be honest, we have had bosses with all kind of experience
but made situations worse in the workforce, in our classrooms.
One thing I have learned from experience is when you are not happy with yourself, when your home life is not in order, some people allows that to spill over into their work area and that is not healthy. No one has not or do not want to address this but you do not think that ex-president Clinton's affairs with 3 women is not having an affect on her? Do you really think that he[ex-President Clinton] want her to win? My gut feeling is "no" and I also feel that I believe this is the one chance she has to prove to herself that she is important. I could be wrong but from her going from saying, "her and Barack or friends" to trying to tear him down and I know she thinks, "it's not personal...it's business" just has me thinking that if she get the nod for the presidential nominee she will not be getting my vote and here's why.
I'm tired of Republicans treating us citizens (especially African-Americans) like tools and I'm tired of Democrats coming around and thinking just because they are Democrats that equals automatic African-American votes. We as African-Americans should be tired of the 2-4 year "political booty call" and they act as if they are our "white knights in shiny armor."
What I have gathered from the Obama campaign is that the government is there to help you not to hold your hand 24/7 and from what I'm seeing from her[Clinton] campaign is that she is doing what every other Left Wing and Right Wing has told the American votes year after year...what we "want" to hear instead of what we "need" to hear. But the sad thing most people want to be lied to so when the deals falls through we have someone to blame. My advise to Barack is to keep doing what you are doing because when you teach hope and self sufficient you build confidence in themselves and we as one person said today, "we the people become the masters and the businesses are the servants instead of the other way around." Hillary Clinton wants to be our "savior" and Barack wants you and I to begin using common sense.
Senator Clinton, I see how you perform under pressure and what I see there is no way I would want you as Commander-in-Chief. From what I am seeing you are no better than President Bush...if situations do not go your way, you try and bully your way to the top. Word of advise...when you manipulate your way to any position it ends up blowing up in your face...ask the current Commander-in-Chief.
