Pressure Truly Shows What A Person Is Made Of

Well said for Sen. Clinton huffing and puffing on the news about Sen. Obama made me feel as though she was reprimanding a child!

True COMEDY. See here.

Another good post sir, and I found the SNL skit on Youtube, hilarious! You said something that reminded me of the movie Contact (I just recently watched) where Ellie says, "I told them the truth, and he[Drumlin] told them exactly what they wanted to hear." Later on in the movie, Drumlin gets "blown up in his face" and then Ellie becomes the one to go (think Ellie==Barack, Drumlin==Clinton). It was just such a coincidence I had to mention it. I still want to make sure I read up on and listen to Obama's full answers to the issues, but I agree with all you've said about Mrs. Clinton.

Well said! Very good post! I have read up on how both candidates stand on the issues. I have watched the debates. I have voted in every election since I was old enough to vote, and I will not vote for Clinton, but I'm not sure about Obama either. I am a Democrat- I just am not convinced by either one. And, Bush has gotten this Country in some kind of a mess, whoever wins, will have one big mess to clean up!!!
My problem is- over the years, I have found, no matter how many times they debate, make speeches, or talk to the media- no one ever gives a plain straight answer to any question! They always go all around the issue and never really give you a plain straight forward answer! I wish they'd just give a straight answer to questions, and not try to stumble around!
You know, I have to be honest, I'm not very into politics. I do vote and try to research where all the candidates stand, but I don't feel like my vote makes a difference at all. To me, it seems like businesses and corporations run the government, not the people themselves. Eventually this will have to change, but for now, I just feel hopeless when it comes to politics. Hopefully once all the personal attacks stop (if they do) the candidates can get down to the real issues... maybe then I'll be more interested. Right now it just feels like a huge cat fight that I don't want to be a part of. =(
